Round by round
A round scores 100 for a guess within a small margin of the truth and falls in a straight line to 0 for a wild one; the day is the average of the five. The pictures are the game — these are the figures behind them.
- Count. How many dots? You get three seconds. 93 dots, shown for three seconds, in a cloud about 85% of the picture wide.
- Meet. If these two lines carried on, where would they meet? The lines meet at 46°, after carrying on 1.0 and 1.2 times their drawn lengths.
- Mark. Mark 5/7 of the way along the line, starting from the dot. 5/7 is 71% of the way along the line from the dot.
- Aim. Where will the arrow hit the wall? The arrow’s line had to be carried on 3.6 times the arrow’s own length to reach the wall.
- Path. The squiggle is how many bars long? The squiggle bends 2 times. End to end in a straight line it spans 3.1 bars; along the curve it is 6.7.
