How to play Blink
A scene of shapes. Every blink, one of them changes — its color, its size, its place, or the way it is turned. Find it and tap it. Ten rounds a day, on the second shelf, outside the daily line-up.

The rules
- The scene fades out and back in. Whatever is different after the blink is the one you want. Tap it where it is or where it was — both count, because the eye reacts a beat after the swap.
- A wrong tap costs two points and ends the round. Not sure? Wait for another blink and compare again.
- Ten rounds a day, busier as they go — five shapes in the first, eighteen in the last. Each shape found is ten points.
- If a round beats you, Show me appears after a while. It ends the round with nothing lost and nothing earned.
- One game a day. Your board is saved as you go, so a refresh is not a second attempt; the archive holds every past day.
Strategy
- Sweep the scene the same way every time — top left to bottom right, say — and compare each shape with what you remember of it. A shape looked at twice is one you will never compare.
- A jump is easiest to catch by the gap it leaves. An empty patch where something was is louder than a shape where nothing was.
- Turns hide in symmetry. A circle never turns; a star only shows a turn of a fifth; squares and pluses show a turn of an eighth. Look at the corners.
- Color and size changes are the gentle ones. A shape a shade off or a size up is easy to miss if you are hunting for movement.
Scoring
Ten points a find, two off for a wrong tap, never under zero. Ten clean rounds is 100; seven found and three rounds lost to a wrong tap is 64. Blink sits outside the daily line-up, so its score never moves your day’s total.
