SPLIT

Twelve numbers make four groups of three, and every group adds up to the target — there is only one way to do it.

• Tap three numbers and submit. The adding up is yours to do.
• A right group locks in a color. A wrong one costs a mistake — and the game says whether it added up: a triple that hits the target but isn’t one of the four is a decoy. The same wrong three again is never charged twice.
• Decoys are the difficulty. Three rounds a day, each with more of them than the last; the fourth group locks for free once three are in.
• A clean round scores 100, and each mistake costs 20. Your score for the day is the average of the three rounds.

One puzzle a day. Your scores are kept — Statistics is in the menu — and Split sits outside the daily line-up, so it never moves your day’s total.
