A five-by-five crossword. Fill every white square so that each row and column reads as the word its clue describes.

• Tap a square to pick it. The bar under the grid shows the clue for the word it is in.
• Tap the same square again to switch between across and down. The arrows on the clue bar walk through every clue in turn.
• Type and the cursor moves on by itself. Delete backs up.
• Check grid marks any letters that are wrong. Reveal word fills in the word you are on, and asks first.

One puzzle a day. The clock starts on your first tap and stops when every square is right; your time, checks and reveals make a score out of 100 you can share. Your scores are kept — Statistics is in the menu — and Mini sits outside the daily line-up, so it never moves your day’s total.

A physical keyboard works too: arrows move, space turns, Tab jumps to the next word.
